In addition to financial aid opportunities, the PsyD program also offers assistantships and travel awards for students while at the University of La Verne.
Graduate Assistantships
The program offers a graduate assistantship for each student during their first year. These assistantships are paid in the form of tuition remission.
Teaching Assistantships
A limited number of teaching assistantships are available for highly qualified students to assist faculty on a variety of teaching and/or research projects. Students will receive partial tuition remission for these assistantships.
Travel Awards
The program awards funding each year for 20 students who have their scholarly work accepted for presentation at regional and/or national conferences. To apply, submit a completed Travel Award Application with original receipts to Natalie Brown.
