The position is core faculty in our APA-accredited PsyD program in Clinical Psychology.<\/p>\n<p>Qualifications for the position:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology;<\/li>\n<li>Completion of, or presently in the process of completing, an APA-accredited doctoral program and APA-accredited internship;<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated teaching experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Primary consideration for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Training or expertise in at least one of the following areas: assessment, biological bases of behavior, consultation, evidence-based practice, human development\/lifespan.<\/li>\n<li>Completed, or presently in the process of completing, post-doctoral hours towards licensure;<\/li>\n<li>Applicants who have obtained licensure as a Psychologist;<\/li>\n<li>Applicants with graduate teaching experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Specific duties include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Teaching 5 courses per year;<\/li>\n<li>Serving as dissertation chair and committee member;<\/li>\n<li>Conducting and publishing research;<\/li>\n<li>Providing advisement and mentoring;<\/li>\n<li>Service on committees in the college and university.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Selected candidates are expected to obtain licensure in California by tenure. The salary range is dependent upon qualifications and college equity.
