Admission Requirements<\/h2>\n

Required Application Materials<\/strong><\/h3>\n
    \n\t
  1. Completed Admission Application and non-refundable application fee<\/li>\n\t
  2. Official transcripts from all institutions attended.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0A bachelor\u2019s degree from a regionally accredited college or university is required.<\/li>\n\t
  3. \u00a0Statement of purpose<\/li>\n\t
  4. Resume<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Students without a degree from an English-speaking institution, where English is not the primary language of instruction and of the geographic area, must establish minimal proficiency in English by accomplishing one of the following: a TOEFL of 79 (iBT), 213 CBT, or 550 PBT or above, Duolingo 105 or above, a GRE verbal score of 146, satisfactory completion of La Verne\u2019s English proficiency test, or satisfactory completion of prerequisite courses at La Verne as indicated by a placement examination.<\/p>\n

    Admission is evaluated on two criteria:<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n\t
    1. Overall performance in undergraduate studies; while no minimum GPA is required, it is expected that the applicant demonstrates the academic ability to succeed at the graduate level.<\/li>\n\t
    2. Personal statement of purpose that details applicants desire to work in health serving organizations.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Prerequisites<\/h3>\n
        \n\t
      • Experience in the US health services industry preferred. Healthcare fieldwork\/internship required if no US health services industry experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
